Synergy Med Global Design SolutionsMC3 Rapid Response Clean Cube LaboratoryFairfax County Health Department Fairfax, VA BuildCore was contacted by our client, Synergy Med, in November 2020 to begin preparation for a rapid deployment and install of five (5) MC3 portable BSL 2/3 certified laboratories. Fairfax County Health Department (Fairfax, Virginia) had high demand for additional laboratory space for testing and required “lights on” and to be operational by January 1. BuildCore played an instrumental role in meeting this exceedingly challenging timeline. As the deployment and construction team, BuildCore worked closely with the Synergy Med design and manufacturing team while pulling together all rigging and construction trade resources required for a successful project.
BuildCore took ownership and was responsible for the entire project upon all five units arriving on-site in Fairfax, Virginia on Sunday, December 27th. Coordination of multiple trades and well-organized sequencing of the work were imperative to meeting the January 1 “lights on” requirement. The team’s attention to detail and commitment to the aggressive timeline were critical for successful delivery. BuildCore developed a thorough understanding of the specific needs of Fairfax County and focused on the key elements for success. We are proud to be a partner with Synergy Med in delivering much needed testing space at a critical time for Fairfax County Public Health.
